This policy explains how Afrobora Services Consultancy (“Afrobora”, “we”) collects, uses and protects information shared through this website and our client communication channels. We aim to handle personal data in line with Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019.

Information we collect

• Enquiries: your name, work email, organisation, optional phone number, the type of enquiry, any timeline or budget range you choose, and the description you write.
• Reviews: the name, rating and comment you submit through our review form.
• Website usage: pages viewed, the referring page, device type and browser. Visitor identifiers and IP addresses used for abuse prevention are stored only as one-way keyed hashes.

How we use it

We use enquiry details to respond to you, arrange conversations and prepare proposals. We use usage information to understand which pages are helpful and to protect the website against abuse. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing without your agreement, and we do not sell it.

Sharing

Information is stored with our hosting provider and may pass through our email provider when we are notified of a new enquiry. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads. We share information with other service providers only where needed to deliver a service you have asked for, or where the law requires it.

Retention and security

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and manage any resulting relationship, then deleted or anonymised. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. Please do not send passwords or confidential records through the website.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or object to its use, subject to legal and record-keeping requirements.
